warning...giveaway spoiler!

I couldn't help it...some of you said you wanted to see the giveaways coming to those of you who commented on the doll post...so I had to share :o) Here are the owl babies that will hopefully not take too long, due to the Canada post strike :o(
a close up of one of the faces...

Here are some of the color variations I did. I made them all out of paper clay, jointed them, and then hand painted them. I hope you love them . They were so fun to make!

LOOK at all the owl babies! Now to somehow get them to you all without them getting squished. Thank you so much for all your comments. They are so wonderful and encouraging!! Where are the fabric owls?? Well as many of you artists know...some of us are not the most organized.I can not find the pattern anywhere...hence the all new giveaway. Hopefully you guys like them though. Have a wonderful Fathers day! Off to make my man feel special! xoxo Tam

  12. Hello! I just came across your blog from Sunny Carvalho's blog. Just wanted to say that your drawings are adorable, it wouldn't let me comment on that post for some reason so I am posting that here. Also, I LOVE LOVE LOVE your owls, they are so much fun!! I've never heard of paper clay before, whatever it is, you did fantastic. I love owl things. I also saw your post about your dolls, I am going to start off with saying they are good. A lot of art doll's faces freak me out, I only like a few dolls and yours are adorable and not the least bit scary! As for the hair, the one on the green one looks great. The hair on the pink girl looks fine too but I feel like it is missing something. Maybe more color or volume? I can't really pin it down. Well I can't wait to see what else you will create! Have a wonderful day :)

  15. Hi Tammy, I don't know why, but I can't leave a comment on any posts, except this one. I also couldn't find a way to contact you other than commenting here. I wanted to tell you I received my awesome little owl, and I was SO excited and surprised! I completely forgot about your giveaway post and missed this post about the owls because I have fallen behind in my blog reading. What a delight to find the beautiful package from you in my mailbox! I am an owl fanatic, so this owl fits right in with my owl collection in my studio. Thanks so much for such a thoughtful and creative gift! You brightened my week :) :)
